I am an award-winning Industrial Designer, Animator, and Creative Director with over 16 years of experience creating across design, video, and storytelling.
My education began in Communication and Industrial Design, but I quickly found my passion in motion graphics and animation — a field I’ve worked in since 2009.
Early in my career, I collaborated with the Vancouver Aquarium to design medical assistive devices, including a breathing apparatus for fish requiring surgery that earned the prestigious Red Dot Award for innovation. I also developed a recyclable floating platform system for rescued seal pups at the Marine Mammal Rescue Centre. Around the same time, I honed my craftsmanship at Emily Carr University while working as a prop maker with The Little Big Workshop, contributing to hit TV shows such as iZombie, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Minority Report, The Magicians, Arrow, and The Flash.
For the past decade, I’ve led creative work at Hootsuite, producing video content for Marketing and Hootsuite Academy, the company’s online education platform. I built and maintained a massive library of hundreds of educational videos, overseeing everything from brand alignment and scriptwriting to storyboarding, directing live-action shoots, and producing animation. My work has been central to defining the voice, style, and growth of Hootsuite Academy.
Beyond Hootsuite, I’ve partnered with brands including TELUS, Later, and Finning as a freelancer, delivering creative solutions in video production, animation, and design.
Outside of work, I dive deep into hobbies with the same curiosity and dedication I bring to my career. Over the years I’ve become highly proficient in 3D printing, sourdough baking, resin art, ceramics and pottery, LEGO building, jewelry design, and cement modeling — often combining these skills into inventive projects. For example, I designed and 3D printed a modular mold system to create custom slip-cast pottery, and I handcraft bespoke D&D dice from cement and resin, many of which I sell through my successful Etsy shop.
At the core of everything I do is a love for combining creativity, technical expertise, and storytelling to make ideas tangible — whether that’s on screen, on stage, or in the studio.
