Lifebooster Smart Wearable

Lifebooster is a Vancouver based startup company. Throughout the semester our class has been researching and developing a prototype smart wearable that can be used to prevent back injury among construction workers as well as provide data to improve health and posture. We worked on several interim projects that would help inform us to the sharing and control of information, integrating electronics into clothing, and assigning agency to objects. These projects allowed us to explore how some of the functionality would be incorporated and how it would influence behavior based on that functionality. We also had to make sure that this new technology was comfortable and unobtrusive.

Reducing back injury through smart clothing.
